Ingredients (2 Portions)
- 200g of lambs liver
- 1 onion
- 2 bacon rashers (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of beef dripping, lard or olive oil
Dice the onion and fry in beef dripping, lard or olive oil for a few minutes until they start to brown. Whilst the onion is frying slice the bacon and add to the frying pan for a couple more minutes. Once fried to your pleasure place the onion and bacon on a plate.
Now, fry the lambs liver in beef dripping, lard or olive oil for 3 minutes each side. Then add the onions and bacon and add a little boiling water to make a light gravy. Be sure not to overcook but feel free to serve with green vegetables, mashed cauliflower and some butter to your taste.
NOTE: Only have this dish once a week and avoid if you’re pregnant.
